The white stallion shook his crystal stained mane as the two horses reached the open gates of Acanthus. A few meters away on the floor sat one of the gates, rusted from years and years of wind, rain and many other terrible weathers that had passed the ancient town. The other gate was only just hanging on to its hinges. Tamara turned to Lilly. "I guess you want to look around?" he asked her, hoping she would nod so he could explore the alien village.
The reason why they were here wasn't exactly clear. It was probably because Tamara wanted to teach Lilly as much as possible about the big world that dwelled around them. The handsome stallion had fallen in love with the cheeky and playful foal ever since he brought her back to his land, Emerald Forest.

I skipped along side Tamara as we journed from his lands to explore. I forest had long dissapered behind us as we moved. We moved aimlessly, just looking around. I soon noticed something not to far from where we where. I froze next to Tamara and looked a head. A rusted gate, barly holding on to the wall, was now blocking our path into a new world. No horse or wolf could hae made this, no this was thw rok of someting else. Something like a...a human.
I suttered at the though as memories flooded in. I pushed the thoughs out and looked at Tamara. "Sure." I said with a smile. I went into a trot and moved closer to the gate. On the other side where stranges rock like places, which were clear that the humans must have lived in. I stopped at the gate and waited for Tamara, for I wasn't about to go their alone.

Tamara chuckled. "Don't worry, I know what you're thinking. You'll be safe with me," he assured her, trotting to catch up with her at the rusted gate. He twisted his fine body around to shift the gate with his rump which collapsed heavily against the ground with a loud crash. Tamara jerked quickly out the way to avoid the heavy object which now sat on the ground just like the other.
"Whoops," Tamara said, smiling. Well, at least they could get in now. He pushed his velvet nose into Lilly's hindquaters to nudge her gently in the right direction just in case she refused.
Walking through the gate, Tamara first noticed the stone wall that seemed to enclose the village. Most of the stones had fallen loose where it had been eroded and crumbled under the many weathers that passed through this place. A few buildings with the same ancient, delapidated stone stood tall in front of them. "These are the places the humans used to live," he informed Lilly, poking his nose through on of the gaps where a door used to be but it had now probably rotted away.

I couldn't help but smile as Tamara knocked the fence over. I knew that I was safe with Tamara, yet still it was hard to forget the past. Slowly, we walked into the new area. There were many strange cave like dwellings here, old and forgotten with only a few things inside to keeps its memory of a strange past. My ears pricked up as Tamara explained that those little caves were where the humans lived. Carefully, I wondered into one. There were many strange items in this little cave, such as a soft woven patch of colors lying lifelessly on the ground, some strange colored and hollow rocks which some had water inside.
Just as I turned and began heading back to where Tamara stood a though came to my mind. " Tamara." I spoke softly. " How did you know that the humans lived in theses caves?" I asked. I was now out of the cave and was right next to Tamara, looking deep into his eyes. How did he come to know about the humans, did he too see them on the island?

Tamara cocked his head toone side as he searched through his old memories. "Actually, I grew up here," he explained, wandering slowly towards a group of delapidated buildings. He knocked one of the fences out of the way with his rump and hopped into an enclosed space before wandering to the old shed- like things. "This was the stables. I lived here for about a year before the humans moved away, taking all they owned except for the many horses which they set free."
He turned back to Lilly, gazing sadly into her eyes. "I used to think being set free was the worse that ever happened to me. That was, until I met you." He remembered roaming the lands alone, no company by his side where he could share his adventures.
OOC: I think I will have to change his history a bit lol I thought it fitted in well.

I stood there, completely shook at what I had just heard. "You where a tamed horse?" I questioned him. Never in my life had I heard such a crazy thing, letting the humans us him. "What did they do to you? I asked. I stared at Tamara for a while, while questions popped into my head. "Where they kind to you? Did they treat you well? Why didn't they take you with them? Why did you not want to be free?" I was soon out of breath from asking so much, yet still I had one more thing to ask. " Will you show me that stable thing you lived in?" I pranced around him, just simply excited to find that my friend had a secret life. OCC: That's ok lol. I am soooo sorry about not posting in forever, that last couple of months have been so busy I had no time to myself. And I will understand if you don't want to finish this thread
