The fur on my chest stuck out proudly as I observed the land I had stepped upon - my land. "Wow," I breathed with a short but delighted sigh. The view that stained my brain with pictures was truley breath-taking. Stained my mind, yes, I liked it. Royals Range was a place that would stay with me forever - whether it was right where I was standing or in my memories.
There were few creatures that scurried around beneath my feet. A small white rabbit shook itself and licked its velvet ears, paying little attention to me. I ignored it. It wasn't just the fact that I was hungry that I let it be - oh yeah, I was starving alright - it was more the fact that this place looked so fragile. Everything looked little dead like nobody had dwell in this setting for a few years. What it needed was a large wolf pack to breath life back into the place and that was one of the reasons why I was here. I was here to start a pack.
Wait, don't get me wrong. Starting my own family wasn't the only reason I took on role as King. Oh, King - I hadn't thought about that yet. I liked it and smiled to myself as though to express my feelings on the inside to the outside aswell. No, I was here to bring order to the wolf kingdom. Things were just random around here. Wolves killed whatever they liked whenever they liked, started fights between other wolves and the thing I hated most was the killing of the horses that also shared these lands. I had deep respect for these creatures and hated the sight of young ones being brought down by cold-hearted dogs. Horses shared their lands with us out of kindness but I also think they did it out of fear. Most horses fear a pack because of the chance they might get attacked. I growled under my breath. This world needed order to survive and I was here to help.
I sighed my growl away and changed my thoughts. Shaking the mane around my neck, pictures of a large and proud stallion came to my mind - the King of horses. No, not the King of dark origin - I hated the darks with all my guts. It was the King of light origin that branded my mind. It had always been my lifelong ambition to greet this graceful creature. Now I'm thinking about I don't know who that King is but I do hope I'll meet him and his herd one day.
Taking a powerful stand, I pulled back my head and let out a long and joyful howl that echoed all around Mystic Freedom. I howled to let everyone know that I was here, to let everyone know that someone had just taken the title of King.
