Our tired hooves slowly moved in a four best rythem as we made our way unto the new land. Pain shot through our legs with every step we took, yet we couldn't stop. We had to keep going. "How much father must we go mom?" Ask my little coal filly. I looked up ahead to see a small pond not to far from where we were. "Not too far." I said to her sweetly. I quicken my pace, giving Mercy a little nug to do so as well. Together went managed a smooth yet slow trot. Within a few minutes we were at the crest of the pond. I bend my golden neck down near the water, letting my dark lips drink. I could feel my little one nursing on me as I drank. I raised my head and leaned over to my foal, nuzzling her softly. I carfully backed up away from the pond and grazed. The grass was much sweeter here in this new land from that other place. Mercy continued nursing for a little while long then stopped. I could hear a small thud on the ground beside me. I looked over to see Mercy lieing on the ground fast asleep. No wonder she was so tired for we have been walking for a day without resting. I longed to be able to rest with her, but with being in a strange new land like this I was unsure of who might be here. So I still grazed by my sweet little filly, looking up every few seconds. When ever I did look up there was nothing but hills, yet still I had a feeling as though there was someone here.

Amulet took long steady strides, he had been walking for a few hours now since his rest in the mountain. But walking had become easier the more he endured it. He had wondered alone now for months on end after being booted from his herd. Now the terrain started to straighten out, the sharp rocky mountains turned to smooth rolling hills, covered with sweet lush grass. Amulet picked up the pace to a very light trot and eagerly looked around the area. But he saw nothing more than grass and slight hills. Halting suddenly, Amulet buried his nose into the sweet grass. He had been traveling on rocks for the past few days and did not hardly get a chance to graze. Amulet grazed for quite some time.
A scent floated through the air past Amulet's nostrils, it was a sweet smell. A smell that Amulet had almost forgotten. Another horse! Amulet scanned the terrain with his beady black orbs, but saw nothing but a small crest up ahead. He quietly trotted up onto the small hill, figuring he could see more from above. As he reached the top he noticed a mare and her foal by a pond. Still a fair way off. Amulet laid his ears back in thought. Horses, real horses. He thought. He decided to approach them, but very slowly and quietly. Hopefully unnoticed. He approached them from far far behind.

The feeling of being watched grew stronger within every second, if Mercy wasn't sleeping just now I would being away from here. I lowered my head near to Mercy to see she was truly in a deep sleep. I went into a walked and began to search the area. Just behind me, was a dark figure. I could tell it was a horse, yet it was hard to see whom it was. Worried, I walked back to where Mercy was and stood by her. Many feelings rushed over me at the time it just overwhelm me. I have been shy whenever I met new horses, so by just seeing one I could feel my quiet self slowly coming out.
I stood over Mercy in a protective way, justing waiting for this nomad to show himself. All I could feel were nerves, nerves from the new horse. I shook my main and lifted my head. I let out a long whinny, simple calling the horse. I looked down at Mercy to see my whinny had not bothered her. I took a step forward and looked right at the horse. What was I to say when he came over? That was the one thing I hated about being me, how shy I was. I had enough shyness in me to fill four horses.
{ooc} Sorry for the fail post lol

Amulet snuck forward, with his head down and his nostrils flared. Creeping forward with his eyes to the ground, watching the grass go by. Suddenly a sound rang through the land and his ears. Amulet stopped and looked up, the horse was looking right at him! She had whinnied to him. Excited, Amulet burst into an extended trot. Floating across the earth with his boa arched and his tail flying ion the wind. At first he went straight past the mare and foal, and stopped a few meters next to them. He put his nose to the earth and pawed at the dust. At the same time letting out a quiet coltish squeal. His father had never taught him how he was meant to act around the mares.

The black figure whom had heard me was now coming closer to where Mercy and I stood. The black stag soon trotted past us and stopped only a few meters away. I watched as he pawed the ground, he then let out a shrilly whinny. Mercy shot up from her deep sleep and was now on her feet. "Hello there." I said with my quiet voice. Mercy moved closer to me side, clearly she was worried about whom this new comer was. "Whom might you be?" I asked the stallion.
